As individuals and groups we make decisions that affect the well being and safety of ourselves and the community. Sammy D programs offer simple advice and support to people of all ages that equips them with ways to keep safe. We have have three core programs:                                –  Supporting young people by connecting them to communities and individuals.                             – Presentations and Workshops focussing on safe choices, preventing violence and bullying.                   –  Providing information on how to keep celebrations safe and full of happy memories not tragedy.

Sammy D Programs Why the Sammy D Foundation?  Sam went out with his friends to a party  and became the victim of a violent assault.  He was 17 and he had everything to live  for. Sam's passions in life were family,  friends and especially sport; his main loves  being football,  soccer, netball and cricket.  Sam was extremely talented at any sport he played and his involvement in many  sporting communities along with his funny,  loyal and unique personality made him  many friends; this was evident by the 1700  people that attended Sam’s funeral.   The Sammy D Foundation believes that  every young person deserves to be loved,  supported and protected. Many need  guidance and positive role modelling to  equip them with the skills and confidence  needed to not only avoid dangerous  situations but to know how to respond if  they are confronted by one.
