I would just like to say that when you came to ParafIeld Gardens High, the speech you gave had a very big impact on most students,
including me, i use to be the violent type that would hit people etc, but after that knowing that one punch can kill, it really did
open my eyes, its turned me off from even watching a fight now,,,so i just wanted to say thank you
and that im pretty sure that Sam, would be really proud of you and Neil.
xx
"Nat and Neil thank you so much for coming out today and sharing your story about Sam and the Sammy D Foundation.
You're both such an inspiration. You have turned what is a tragedy for any parent to go though in to something so positive. Going out and
educating the youth of today to enabling them to make better choices for themselves through Sam's story. Empowering them with your knowledge
is remarkable; I could not help but be touched by your story and wish the foundation all the success. You are an amazing couple and our
community is blessed to have you do what you are doing!"

Your story touched so many of us Parafield Gardens peoples hearts today, it was great that you could share such an amazing
and heart filling story about a young lad that seemed to be an amazing person. It was such a sad story, we will all now sit and think of him,
wishing we could have just meet this bloke.
Thank you for being able to come and talk about that and let us young ones know of how easy fights can break out and how harmful they can be.
Sorry for your loss
Today at Parafield Gardens High School you made a speech that hit home for a few girls. You guys are really amazing.
All thoughts out to a mum and dad that did a really good job with the speech today, really opened everyones eyes
Thank you so much for coming to our school. You guys have a powerful message and i am sure it will
impact all of our students positively.
Kind regards,
Shane
Thank you so much for visiting FAME and spending the time sharing your story with our students.
You made a big impact on them and we all appreciated your openness and honesty. You are both excellent role models for us all,
demonstrating forgiveness, compassion and strength when faced with loss, and under such harrowing circumstances. Your proactivity,
responsibility, concern and dedication for others is to be acknowledged

Just want to thank you, Neil, Amy and Kate for coming to our school and sharing Sam's story.
It was a very touching presentation and made us all realise how precious life really is. It's a wonderful thing that you've
turned such a negative situation into positive. Sam's family and friends are a true inspiration. Thankyou for helping us with our project :)

Hey guys, i got to hear your presentation at school this morning (wirreanda), and i just wanted to say thank you.
I think what you do is incredible, and you are all incredibly strong. I wish the whole school could have been in
that room, because i have no doubt it would change the way most of them think about how they act at times! I
love the way you did the presentation and when it got heavy you lightened it up a bit. You seem so nice and so
genuine and i think it's an amazing foundation.
Straight after it finished we had recess and i wanted all my friends to know what we just got to hear about.
I started telling one of my friends and before i knew it there was about 10 people listening to me try to
explain what you told us, and the stories that we heard.
I just wanted to say thank you and i think you're all amazing
Emma
Hi guys, I just wanted to say thankyou for all your work! I just picked up my son from Vault at Aldinga and
my 12 year old son told me you had been to talk to them! You have provided an amazing opportunity to talk with my son!
You made a huge impact on him and me!
From one parent to another
Thankyou
Kristen
Listening in right now on 5AA...Well spoken by a brave loving Mother. An absolute tradgedy, great work with his foundation.
I heard your comment about his heart valve going 2 a 4 year old. My daughter Poppy (3 years old) has a pulmonary artery from
an organ donor. She would not be here now if it wasnt for people like Sam. My family is so greatful for people like Sam.
He 'lives on' through his organ donation and has given life to others...XOXO

I learnt that if you see two people fighting you should not join in but call the police or get help.In every state of Australia
except SA there are wrist bands that you can get your friends to wear at your party ,the police patrol the place more where your party is.
If someone is not meant to be there or there is a fight you can call the police.
Live life to the fullest and have fun.
Tell your parents everything
Sam Nicholls.
I don't need to know anything because you showed me
everything I needed to know
Kelsey Ward
I learnt to not go anywhere with out your parents, a teacher or someone you know really well knowing where you are. To be prepared to take risks.
To live your life to the fullest. I would like to find out more about the Sammy D foundation and how long it took to make the wristbands.
What I liked about the presentation was that you had slide shows and how you were confident to speak in front of 3 year 5 classes

Dear Sammy D foundation,
I have learnt, that if there is a chance you take it, and I have also learnt that how you treat others is how they are going to be.
Also I know about the Sammy D foundation and what it does, like it helps people who are going through hard times. I would also like to know a bit
more about how you help them and how they feel/emotions when you help them. Lastly I think that you did a great presentation
BROOKE
I learnt that the foundation was that so kids like Sammy D could have so many options like he had and live life to the very fullest that you can and
there all about making right decisions for youths and whether there good or bad and how to deal with it and tell your parents if something is wrong
I like that they are helping kids with a newly working foundation to help them get through life and live life to the very fullest you can
JOSH
Dear Sammy D
I learnt that being there for your mates is important.
I also learnt that you should make the most of every minute.
You should always tell your parents where you are going or if something is
bothering you. Anything could happen.
I would like to know more about how we can be safe when going out to
parties.
I liked the slide show and the music- the music went together! I also liked
How a family friend came along. It taught me so much
Thanks Sammy D Foundation

I learnt so much about the foundation and how we can help. You need to live
life to the fullest. It is mostly about decision making. Some people make bad
decisions. So we should make good decisions.Take a chance but don't get in
danger. It is teaching us to make the right the decisions.Tell your parents
where you are going
FROM ZAC M.
I learnt about the SAMMY D foundation and what it does. I learnt that if you
have a chance you should take it. I also learnt that you should treat others
nicely like how you want to be treated.
You should tell your parents everything even if you are uncomfortable with
it and live life to the fullest
