Her Excellency The Honourable Frances Adamson AC Governor of South Australia | Patron | 2022 - current
"I am pleased to accept the invitation to be patron of the Sammy D Foundation, continuing the work of my distinguished predecessor The Hon Hieu Van Le AC.
When people work together to achieve change, our community is strengthened.
The Sammy D Foundation, through its practical programs and mentoring, is at the vanguard of a cultural shift away from risky behaviours such as bullying, violent behaviour and harassment.
By giving young people the strength to understand that violence is never the answer, our young people can gain the confidence to walk away from harmful situations, particularly during their formative years when peer pressure is a powerful influence.
I look forward to engaging with the Foundation as it fulfils its mission of shaping lives and changing futures."
