Since 2021, junior teams from South Australian sporting codes have taken a stand against violence and bullying by participating in a Sammy D Foundation Violence Prevention Round. Players donned blue armbands for all games across the weekend to increase awareness about changing community attitudes toward violence.

All sporting codes who took part in our Violence Prevention Round said that here in SA we want our kids to keep engaging in sport and all the benefits it brings, and we want out adult teams to model good behaviour for the juniors. They are saying..
