For the last two years, junior teams from both Football South Australia and SANFL have taken a stand against violence and bullying by participating in a Sammy D Foundation Violence Prevention Round. Players donned blue armbands for all games across the weekend to increase awareness about changing community attitudes toward violence.

All sporting codes who are taking part in our Violence Prevention Round are saying that here in SA we want our kids to keep engaging in sport and all the benefits it brings, and we want out adult teams to model good behaviour for the juniors. They are saying..
