ANSVAR Insurance Partners with the Sammy D Foundation to Foster a Violence-Free Future for the Next Generation
We are proud to announce ANSVAR Insurance's collaboration with the Sammy D Foundation, marking a significant step towards educating and empowering the next generation to create a future free of violence.
ANSVAR Insurance has generously provided the Sammy D Foundation with a $38,000 grant to bolster the delivery of its Impact program within South Australian Schools.
The Impact program is a dedicated initiative focused on violence prevention, comprising engaging presentations followed by interactive workshops. Its core objectives are:
- Educating young people about current issues related to violence.
- Building an understanding of the far-reaching consequences of specific actions or choices on victims, perpetrators, bystanders, and the broader community.
Anticipated project outcomes include:
- 85% of program participants reporting heightened awareness of the impact of violence.
- 85% of participants expressing increased confidence in recognizing and avoiding risky situations.
ANSVAR's generous grant will enable the Sammy D Foundation to deliver 25 school violence prevention education programs between August 1, 2023, and July 30, 2024.
