Burton Foundation supports the Sammy D Foundation

We are enormously grateful to our new supporters, Kay and Julian from The Burton Foundation.

Their Foundation - which focuses on improving the lives of children and the health and wellbeing of our community - believes wholeheartedly in Sammy D’s work to end youth violence in schools through prevention education, so has become a supporting donor to help increase our reach across South Australian schools.

Their support will allow us to continue our work towards changing the culture in schools around violence by educating young people on the devastating, lost lasting and far-reaching impacts of violence and also the risks associated with the misuse of alcohol and other drugs.

Thanks to their belief in the power of philanthropy to change lives, the impact we will work together towards will be minimised incidences of violence in our schools, and students empowered to make informed decisions about alcohol and other drugs, creating a safer, healthier community for us all.
