LIGC Charity Golf Day raises $91,000 in support of South Australian charities

We’re deeply grateful to the Liquor Industry Golf Club (LIGC) for their continued support of the Sammy D Foundation through their annual Charity Golf Day, which is held each year to raise funds for children’s charities across South Australia.

This year’s event, held on 31 March at Grange Golf Club, was an incredible success, with players coming together to support a good cause. Thanks to their generosity, $91,000 was raised and distributed to selected children's charities, including the Sammy D Foundation.

The funds raised from this year’s LIGC Charity Golf Day will support the Sammy D Foundation in developing an indoor/outdoor activities hub for our community mentoring program. This exciting new space will provide a safe, engaging environment for young people to participate in activities that promote personal development and positive social connections.

The LIGC Charity Golf Day is one of the most anticipated events on the hospitality golf calendar and has raised over $3 million in its history. The event brings together industry businesses, service providers, and a dedicated group of hoteliers who volunteer their time to make the day a success.

On behalf of everyone at the Sammy D Foundation, thank you to the LIGC and all the generous sponsors and participants who made this event such a success. Your support helps us make a real difference in the lives of young people across South Australia.

Together, we’re building a brighter, safer future for the next generation.
