Sam Jacobs to join Darren Lehmann as Ambassador for the Sammy D Foundation

The Sammy D Foundation announced today that Crows star ruckman Sam Jacobs had come on board joining cricketing great Darren Lehmann as Ambassador to raise awareness of programs that assist to empower youth to make safe and positive life choices.

Commenting on his support of the charity, Sam said  "The reason I am joining the Sammy D Foundation is because I want to play a part in reducing violence in footy and all sports. I also want to help educate and support young people to make the best decision, not only for themselves, but for their friends too".

General Manager of the Sammy D Foundation, Brigid Koenig , commented  "We are excited to have Sam as an ambassador for the Sammy D Foundation as he is passionate about reducing violence in sport and the community which we saw as a great fit for the work our organisation is currently doing within sporting clubs and schools. We look forward to working with Sam to help get greater traction and results within South Australia!“
